I am GO

We've asked some of the members of our movement to share their stories and hopes for public education in our city. We're calling it the "I Am GO" Project.

GO Public Schools is a diverse coalition of parents, teachers, school leaders, and community members from across the city, and we hope that this project begins to highlight all of the different people who are coming together for our students in this movement.

If you would like to be a part of the "I am GO" project and share your story about your hopes for education in our city and why you are involved with Great Oakland Public Schools, please send a 3-4 sentence statement along with a picture to Chris.

    Community Meeting with Superintendent Antwan Wilson

    This will be a great opportunity for parents, students, teachers and other staff, and community members to meet our new Superintendent, learn more about his plans for moving Oakland forward, and connect with other public school supporters. People also can enroll in Covered California (health insurance) starting at 6 P.M.
